Experience
My practice as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist began through One Life Counseling Center in San Carlos, CA and is now based in San Mateo, CA. I offer psychoeducation and therapeutic interventions to empower the individual and promote positive interpersonal relationships and dynamics.
I have worked with Acknowledge Alliance in Mountain View, California to facilitate social emotional learning for 3-7th grade students. Social emotional learning helps children to control their behavior, understand how their personal behavior impacts others, and enables them to empathize and collaborate with others. I have also worked in the Hillsborough City School District to support the mainstreaming of elementary-aged children.
My unique experience in working with children also includes leading weekly art projects at a summer program in Massachusetts and seven years as a family entertainer throughout the San Francisco Bay Area with an organization called Happily Ever Laughter. I portrayed a magical faerie at birthday parties and was delighted to be a part of making children feel special and celebrated.

Education
I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and a duel Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and in Art Therapy at Notre Dame de Namur University in Belmont, California where I studied art assessment and psychological theory as applicable to family and individual therapeutic dynamics.
